Before confirming a service request

These are general booking details. The terms agreed for your case and recorded in the service document define visit charges and authorised work.

Booking and charges

A message or call does not automatically confirm attendance. Agree the location, appointment, inspection and travel charges, including charges when a repair is declined. Ask for the repair quote after inspection and before authorising work.

Parts and additional work

Ask for the proposed part’s description, compatibility, source and price. A symptom alone does not establish the need to replace a part. Additional work should be explained and approved before proceeding.

Follow-up and warranty

Keep the visit details, receipt and any agreed warranty conditions. The website does not promise a uniform warranty period for every appliance and fault. Follow-up depends on the work performed and documented terms.

Help articles

Articles help describe symptoms and identify when to stop using an appliance. They do not replace the model manual or inspection, or authorise work on electrical or gas components or bypassing safety devices.
